Brett and Jessica Finally Get to Meet!

The Daily Telegraph's award winning photographer Brett Costello and Jessica finally got to meet each other earlier this week, when Jessica took Brett and News Ltd’s Amanda Lulham for a sail with her crew aboard Ella Bache another Challenge.

Brett was honoured with a prestigious Walkley Award and won the News Photography award for Best News Picture in 2010, for his amazing image of Jessica on her yacht Ella's Pink Lady (see pic below) on the day before she sailed back into Sydney. 

 The image is one of Jessica’s favourites from the voyage. 

 “Brett’s shot is one of my favourite photos. I always show it and talk about it whenever I am doing my presentations to schools or corporates,” said Jessica.

 “It is an incredible image and as bad as it looks out there, I was actually having the time of my life on that day. I was so excited about sailing back into Sydney the next day to finally see all my family and friends again.”  

 “So it was nice to finally get to meet Brett this week and congratulate him for his amazing shot.”

 With only three days to go until the start of the race, Jessica is delighted with the final preparations and all the crew are ready to go!
